Earlier this year I had the honor of being asked to stitch a gift for a new mum.

I wanted to create something she would treasure forever and was designed uniquely for her. For example I added Lily of the valley as it is the birth flower for May and a name in the family.

This is far from my usual style but I really enjoyed the designing process and stitching it was a joy.

I would love to do some more pieces like this one so just message if you’re interested 🥰

What a fabulous day!
It was great to come back to Drawn after a lil break away and it was wonderful as always

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who popped by, was lovely to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones too!

I’m in full recovery mode now 😅

In the meantime, it’s lots of cuddles with my lil pal and a nice afternoon in the sun is on the cards

🍏POPPY🍏

I absolutely loved working on this comission for a very special person.
The gorgeous Poppy was such a lovely sweet girl and it was a joy to try and capture her nature in this embroidery.

I really believe the reference photo can make or break an embroidery; the more detailed and higher the quality the photo, the more successful the embroidery will be.

I am open to more pet portraits, as long as there isn’t a deadline 😅 Message me if you’re interested!

🐾MORTY🐾

Since having my baby in September I was on a bit of an embroidery hiatus and was determined not to take on too much in the run up to Christmas .. but then I was asked to do an embroidery of Morty and how could I say no?!

I loved doing this embroidery and without sounding too soppy, it helped me find a balance between the old me and the new me.

🐾TEDDY🐾

It’s only taken me about 9 months but Teddy is finally complete!

After suffering with awful morning sickness and my will to embroider hitting an all time low, I’m really pleased I’ve ‘had’ to finish this one as it gave me a kick up the bum I truly needed.

Once I go on maternity leave from my day job I’m hoping to give my work space a proper tidy and sort out some things to sell, either on here or Etsy.. anyone still use Etsy?!
