Anyone else feeling like the rest of Insta world has put their decs up, ready to go, insta perfect photo shots done, sat back ready for the big day! Well that is absolutely not me, the wreath hoop and moss bought, a few new baubles, the odd present has been ordered but that’s as far as that has gone, forever late to the party that’s me!
My Christmas contribution on the first day of advent are these fab ball candles, last year they were a sell out, this year we only have a few left but if your quick you’ll grab the last few. We have them in a few other colours too!! Happy December 1st. 🎄🎄

It’s been a while, we’ve been kept so busy with the extension, we’ve also fitted in a bit re-decorating a few rooms, a bit excited to show you all soon 🤩 and of course getting ready for Christmas. 🎄
Anyway back to the pic, we been having a little photoshoot of our lampshades today. This gold pineapple shade has to be one of my favourites. 🍍 The gold sparkles and give this neutral shade a bit of something special.
If there are any shades you like but want them as pendants inside of a lamp base shade just send me a DM. They are all handmade so easily created just for you.

Day 17 of is UNEXPECTED. What’s been so unexpected for me is how much I love our house, it’s super quirky, we have a great garden but a lot of it is on a slope, our staircase sits centrally in the hall, we have 7 fireplaces, and a tower! Currently we are building a kitchen extension, which will add a whole new dimension to the house.
We fell in love with St Millies quirkiness, and both my OH and I know it’s the home for us for life. 🏡❤️.

MONDAY MOTIVATION have trust in your instincts. Does anyone else do lots of dithering, procrastinating and doubting decisions. Well that’s me!!
I’m currently concentrating on the handmade lampshade side of the business, its where I want the business to go, the shapes, fabrics and colours are endless, excited to@get some new designs onto the website.

THIS OR THAT? Day10 of and the big question is can you be bold and neutral all in the same house? Does it mater, does anyone even care if some rooms are neutral and some bold?
Well it’s going to have to be ok, I like both!

Todays prompt from is to ‘Be Bold’
Can’t be anymore Bold then our Dining Room (which in fact is in the Cellar!) Where else would you put a formal dining room?! 🤣 We love this room, we’ve had lots of parties down here. The decision to have our dining room in the cellar was an easy one, we didn’t use our dining room much in our old house, the odd dinner party or Christmas lunch so when we moved here I was all for getting rid of it, use the kitchen right?!Until we had this hair brained idea to convert our cellar.
We painted Como Blue on the walls and paired it with fabulous deep mustard fabric from which I used to make the lampshades and cover the dining chairs, stunning Monkey lamps and it seemed to take on its own bold and beautiful dining room vibe.

Light Me Up 🔥do you remember a few weeks ago, 6pm was Gin time, sat outside in the garden with a nibble or two. How it’s all changed, and rapidly, this week it’s all about lighting up the log burner and snuggling down to a good series or film and a nice glass of red 🍷.
What are you watching on the TV at the moment? Need a good series that me and Mr H can watch together, nothing to girlie, not too many guns?!
Day 4 of

The sunshine was streaming in this morning, it won’t stream in there again for a few months after tomorrow.
November is going to be an exciting month starting with boarding up a section of the hall, dismantling our cloakroom, then next week taking it apart brick by brick to get the steels and roof put onto the kitchen extension.
All very exciting and nerve wracking at the same time!
I’m going to try and take part in this month and already I’m late, so todays post incorporates yesterdays sharing the themes and todays November plans. Wish we luck with the rest of the days!

👻Its Halloween 👻 do you celebrate? I’m not a fan in fact you will find me hiding behind a cushion when there’s anything frightening on the TV, ghouls 👻ghosts, horror movies, witches 🧙‍♀️ not my thing, don’t hate me for it, but I can’t do the eeejjjiii bbeeejjii’s 🕸🕷I’m a WIMP! 👻.
Anyone else out there a bit scared?

Morning Saturday, we’ve got an early start this morning taking my little grand puppy back to my daughters. It’s been so much fun having him, although my boys cannot understand how he gets away with being upstairs and omg how does he manage to get on our bed, our spaniels along with my husband are completely bemused! 🤣 He’s so naughty but so so cute 🥰

HELLO OCTOBER 🍁 and it’s arrived with a great big ‘Taadaah👋🏻. It’s blummin cold, log burner has been on, heating has kicked in, and the woolly jumpers are heading to the front of the shelf.
