People think it's cheaper to buy online. But we don't agree.
Here’s a real example.
A customer wants a 98cm side discharge lawn tractor and finds the Mountfield MTF 98M SD online for £1898.99 from a large national retailer. At first glance, it looks like a good deal.
But then they look a little closer…
On our website, www.gardenkit.co.uk, they find the current equivalent model — the Mountfield 1538M-SD — for £1900.00. That’s just £1.01 more… but with:

✅ Ongoing after-sales support from the same people who sold it to you
✅ A local family-run business standing behind both you and the product if anything ever goes wrong
Now compare that to buying a machine online or from a warehouse-style retailer.
What happens if:
❓You need help setting it up?
❓The machine arrives damaged?
❓You need warranty support?
❓You need servicing, parts, or advice?
❓You later realise it wasn’t the right machine for your garden?
The reality is that “cheap” and “convenient” are not always the same as “best value” — and often, they’re not even cheaper at all.
Independent dealers don’t just sell machinery. We provide product knowledge, preparation, servicing, spare parts, warranty support, and long-term customer care.
