It’s been a difficult season for us at Guides Choice, we have been looking someone to take over from Fintan this last number of months and this has meant we have remained closed during the week for much of the start of the season and we must apologise to our customers for this inconvenience this has caused.

Fintan who recently captained our Junior Irish International squad to success in the home Countries International event has started his Electrician’s Apprenticeship with Ronnie from Foyle Tributaries. A very hard man to replace is Fintan and thankfully he’ll remain part of the team for years to come. Fintan is not only an accomplished Salmon and Trout angler but one of the finest casters I have seen.

I would like to welcome our newest team member Daithi Mc Namee, like Fintan, Daithi has fished the rivers here since he was a young boy. An accomplished boxer and footballer, Daithi like Fintan displays the patience and discipline to be a great all round angler / fly fisherman. Daithi will be in the shop Monday through Friday, with Fintan in on a Saturday.

Thankfully normal business hours can resume.
