One of the best features is the variable power output, The sheriff features a 0.3 watt mode, perfect for bedroom players as well as gigging professionals. Access the sound without blowing your ears off when at home or go the full 22 watts, more than enough for any club/ pub and theatre gig. Seriously... this thing can make the walls shake when you need it to!
This amp is perfect for getting the Jimi Hendrix Style cleans, which is to say not exactly a clean but rather a low output gain channel, glassy, marshally breakup.
Channel 2 goes the other way, and offers Grunting, screaming distortion.
The controls are sensitive and robust so you can change your sound from gentle breakup, to classic rock, to metal.
Features an effects loop, I have found that less is more and the best sounds with this amp come from using the stock sounds of the amp and minimal pedals.

1994 Orville Les Paul - £900

One of the best looking and cleanest Orvilles LPS 80Fs I've ever seen.

A stunning 1994 Japanese Orville FujiGen Amberburst Les Paul Standard.
You won’t find many LPS 80Fs in this finish, very few were made as the standard cherry sunburst was much more desirable in Japan at the time. They were officially licenced by Gibson to be built exclusively for the Japanese Market and were never commercially exported from Japan.

A superb looking Les Paul with a deep flametop thanks to the foto flame system Orville used on these.
It has a non-chambered mahogany body with mahogany set neck a nicely streaked rosewood fingerboard. Great sounding original Orville PAF humbuckers.
Long tennon neck joint.
Nice feeling 1959 profile neck.
Weight 4.2kg. This one is very, very clean throughout.
It’s very rare to find Japanese Orvilles in this kind of condition. The back doesn’t have a mark on it. It still has the original clear protective film covering the back plastic control panels, it was never removed from new.

It also has its original Japanese Yamano certificate. Obviously there are no mods/repairs etc. Everything is factory stock. Plays beautifully with no electrical issues at all.
Neck is nice and straight, truss rod working with plenty of life left in the frets. Complete with nice tan HSC in excellent condition, with silk shroud, all latches working.

I originally purchased this as part of my own collection and have been going back and forward on selling it. However, I have decided that I prefer my 335 and this is just too special to sit in a case. You will hear the high end les paul collectors say that true 59's have a brightness to the pickups that modern reissue don't quite get right. This gets it right.

SRV tones at the touch of a button. Roll back the gain and turn up the volume for a huge boost, wind down the volume and crank the gain to hear your axe scream. Stack with a classic distortion or dirty amp for a monstrous rock tone!

You only need to play it for a few minutes to see why these have the reputation they do and why there are so many pedals based on this one.

Deserves a Vai-olent reputation!

We've all seen these and unless you've owned or used one you might never know just how good they are.
The Digitech Whammy is the ultimate Expression pedal. Made famous by the likes of Steve Vai and Joe Satirani, It can be used to down tune your guitar by an active, 2 octaves or pitch shift up an octave or two.

I can't put into words how insane this pedal is and it really lets you push the barriers of the sound you can get from your axe. De-tune half a step at the push of a pedal, no more retuning for authetntic Hendrix/ SRV sounds.
Then of course the Dive Bomb feature, AKA the thing you will use this for 90% of the time.
NEEEOOOOOOOOOOWWEEEEE!!!!!! Like that, or a Kamikaze pilot, the dive bomb feature will have your drummer ducking for cover (they're not too bright) and your singer reaching for an anti aircraft gun.

Features also include a Harmonizer, which will play the note of the major scale above or below the note you are playing along with you. If you can understand that sentence then you owe it to yourself to try one of these pedals, and they are getting hard to find at this price!
Not only that but it also comes with the power supply, which are around a tenner by themselves, included here for free!

These Berhinger pedals are great value for money and offer big name quality for a lot less dollar!

This pedal has barely been used and is in great condition. It currently has Velcro on the back (no extra charge!) but I'm happy to remove if you would prefer!

These are great little tools for your tone and and pretty durable to boot. Plastic chassis which can happily withstand my "delightfully rotund" frame pressing down on it so do not fear, durability is a key feature!

A hel- of a pedal!

This is a weird one.

We've all seen the talk box's for guitar ala Frampton comes alive, which originally I thought this was. Playing with it and checking out reviews online however will show you that that's not qutie what this pedal is.

The H1 is a harmonizer. Pick the key you're playing in, plug your guitar and mic into this pedal and then pick a note 1-8 above or below and this pedal creates a vocal harmony of what you sing in real time.

There's a lot of uses for this pedal but I think a singer songwriter this could be an amazing tool live for stripped down sets, or smaller venues.

I have barely scratched the surface of what this can do, simply because I'm not sure I can write enough about the H! so I will attach some videos below and possibly make one of my own to accompany it!

This pedal is ridiculously fun, and in the hands of someone with a good voice -as opposed to the voice of a person with good hands- this pedal could be an incredible tool for live performance or recording!

Yeah. pretty much.

There are pedals that will do more, give you more options. But at this price this is pretty great.
A nice simple pedal that does exactly what you need it to! Give Reverb!

Durable and with a small footprint. Great for a player new to pedals or to squeeze onto a board without taking up too much room. Kick it on, leave it on!

Mosky Dyna Compressor - £25

A dinky Dyna-saur for sure!

The clue is in the name, this pint sized pedal is pretty obviously based on the MXR Dynacomp.

However, for a pedal half the size and a third of the price the Dyna does a great job at replicating the sound of the original.

Cheap and cheerful, this compressor is great for beefing up your solos or getting that great clicky pop sound that the MXR dynacomp became famous for!

The metal housing is durable, the footprint means you can fit it onto almost any board. Nice quality and a very wallet friendly option that doesn't compromise on use... what more is there to say?
