This is sooo important
Normalize telling your friends you love them.

Normalize cheering your friends on and being a place that celebrates each other’s achievements on a regular basis. Normalize checking on each other. Normalize saying hey “this happened, and I’m kind of upset by it, but I want to come to you first instead of letting it mess our relationship up.”

Normalize creating circles of complete trust, and normalize listening more than you speak.

Normalize appreciating your friends. Normalize compliments. Normalize text threads that legit look like a fan page where everyone gushes over each other and encourages each other like crazy. Make it awkward. Let them know you care (because if you aren’t saying it—they probably don’t know.)

Normalize giving more than you take. Normalize running errands together, and hanging out in sweatpants for the chillest, cheapest, most spontaneous girls nights ever.

Normalize having so much fun that you forget to take a picture, and you don’t care whether everyone on Instagram knows about your night out or not, because you were there. You lived it. You know it was amazing, and that’s enough.

Normalize talking about ideas, goals, fears, struggles and the real stuff significantly more than you talk about other people, gossip or shallow nonsense.

Normalize bragging about your friends behind their back.

Normalize including more people and building bigger tables.

Normalize grace, and forgiveness, and believing the best. Normalize giving everyone the space to be themselves. Let your friendships be the one place where you can relax, breathe deep and not stress about having to suck in, hide your flaws, or pretending to be somebody you’re not.

Normalize praying for each other, helping each other and dropping off Diet Cokes for no real reason.

Normalize friendship. Authentic. True. Long-lasting, sturdy and safe friendship. The world needs more of it. We need more of it and we need more of each other.

Love,
Sandy ❤️

Not my words: but soo true! 💡

DOES SKIPPING YOUR MORNING COFFEE ACTUALLY WORK?

How often do you see it said:

'Stop buying avocado toast and coffee and you'll be able to breakout of your financial struggle'

And then you run the numbers -

A £3 coffee each day for a year is around £1,000.

Which is nice.

But not exactly life changing money.

But what if we looked at things differently.

And looked at it through a success mindset...

Because most people think that success comes down to a couple of 'life changing' decisions.

But really, it's the compound effect of small decisions each day.

For example, a chocolate bar instead of a salad once won't do much.

But replacing your salad with a chocolate bar every day sure will...

And it's the same here.

Because what if you did give up buying coffee for a year.

Then, used that £1,000 to buy some really good business & financial books.

And you replaced watching Netflix with actually reading those books...

In 1 day you won't notice anything.

But in 1 year - you'll be seeing huge changes in your mindset.

Then the next year, you double down.

And you give up buying lunch out or grabbing take-away on the way home.

Then used that extra money to invest in a coach / mentor.

And fast track your learnings and skill developments.

Life will start to be looking very different.

Next year - you cut back on the nights out.

And use the extra money, along with your new skills, to start investing.

Investing in your business.

Investing in the markets

Investing even more into yourself...

You can totally change the trajectory of your life in 3 years with small sacrifices.

The compound effect of these small changes each day is incredible.

It just takes some time to see the changes.

Which makes it easy to quit if you're expecting instant results.

Most people know this is a 5-7 year business plan.

And that means making small sacrifices consistently for 5-7 years.

Most people won't.

But you can.

And making that decision is the first step.

Then building the muscle of discipline.

Making small adjustments each day.

Compounding those decisions for 5-7 years...

And you can live the rest of your life completely differently to everyone else.

Which is really, really fun.

GIVE IT SOME THOUGHT 🤔
