📣 We’ve got some VERY big news to share…

👀 Nevermore Manor is officially the new owner of what was formerly The Crown Hotel on Drummond Road, Skegness!

And this isn’t just a new name on an old building…

We’re transforming the site into an exciting new alternative hotel complex, bringing together hospitality, entertainment, events, celebrations, shopping and everything wonderfully weird under one roof.

🍸 Penny Dreadful’s will be opening its doors as the brand-new bar at Nevermore Manor, with a whole calendar of exciting events, live music, alternative nights, themed parties and much more already being planned.

🦇 The Bat Box will also be relocating into the soon-to-be-refurbished retail wing, bringing its alternative fashion, gifts, gothic goodies and batty treasures to its new home.

👻 Skeggy Spirits will be joining us too, relocating its handmade ghostly creations into the new retail space.

This is just the beginning.

A new venue.
A new home.
A new chapter for alternative Skegness.

Something BIG is happening behind the scenes…

We’re delighted to announce that The Bat Box will be relocating to the soon-to-be-refurbished retail wing of Nevermore Manor! 🏨🦇

Nevermore Manor is the new owner of what was formerly The Crown Hotel on Drummond Road, Skegness, and an exciting new alternative hotel complex is currently taking shape.

And The Bat Box is coming along for the ride. 🖤

Our new retail home will become part of an exciting destination bringing together alternative accommodation, entertainment , events and independent retail — all under one wonderfully dark roof.

Expect more space, new possibilities and plenty of the gothic, alternative and downright strange things you’ve come to expect from The Bat Box.

And with Penny Dreadful’s opening as the new bar at Nevermore Manor, there’s going to be a LOT happening.

This is more than a relocation.

It’s the beginning of a new chapter for The Bat Box — and for alternative Skegness.
