Happy New Year! It’s been 12 months since we closed our doors and I think it’s about time that I gave you an update. I know I owe you one! 😁 Life since our sad and emotional departure has been a little different from what I think you might expect. I’ve been spending a lot more time outdoors in the sunshine (but of late wind and rain), so much so that I’ve also gained a bit of colour in my cheeks and a few tan lines. You may be aware from our chats in the shop that apart from beer, cider and gin being a passion, gardening and property renovation has always been high on my list of skills. So over this past year I’ve spent my time setting up and growing my new business - Northern Gardens & Maintenance (Gardening, Property Maintenance & Handyman Services – All Jobs Considered) and can already count some of you as customers in my new venture!
I do hope this post finds you well and that you are still managing to enjoy some great drinks since The Shrew, although our beer fridge has definitely taken a hit! 🤣 Now here comes the cheeky catch of this post… 🤪 I’d love it if you could check me out and DM me if you’re interested or in need of any work doing, and don’t forget any of those DIY jobs that you’ve been putting off.
