What goes into an order. Well once in the ground these little babies need a lot of nurturing. This week it’s extra watering !
Cutting when it’s cool, conditioning, arranging, wrapping, transporting and ta da ( in a nut shell)

So the phrase I hear alot is. ‘I can get them cheaper in the supermarket. ‘ Yes you can but ask yourself after all that time money and effort, does that farmer get enough? How much do the labour force get?
By supporting local, the carbon footprint is so much less ( just down t’ road) and pesticide free! X

A very hot day getting round watering, cutting and arranging. Hydrate, hydrate hydrate… me and the plants!

Lots of varieties popping, blooming and also some may be short lived so if you fancy a bunch pls let me know.
You’ll be helping me keep blooms flowering for the bees and insects, as well as our small business in the heat.

PINK PLUMES… cutting sweet William with its delicate scent this morning, here in the Yorkshire Dales.
British Flowers Week has certainly reached its stride, with the colour wheel starting to pop on the three plots.

Thank you so much for all the Love following our Little Wedding reminiscing! 💕

It was very much back to business as usual with a good few hours at one of the annual plots, wedding and cutting. Bouquets this week … will contain the last of our Peonies I think, and a lovely rainbow of annuals and perennials.

A year on… how did that happen. This time last year we quietly got Married at the ‘Little Wedding’ 💒 at Harrogate Registry Office before a big old party with the whole gang. It was such a fabulous day. Filled with laughter and happy tears.
From getting ready in a local hotel loos, driving myself to the ceremony in our old car, getting Wed, relaxed lunch back at my parents, pint in the pub and then eloping for a night in the tiles to York in our glad rags.

What a day! We will cherish looking back over all our photos today and reliving the day 🥹🤍 Small is beautiful, do it your way ###
