Still catching up on life lately. Our girly trip home home to Northumberland in the summer hols. It’s never long enough and we had the best week by the sea. Giggly sleep overs, beach, mini golf, fish and chips. Boat trip to the Farne Islands to see the 🦭 seals, cards in the pub and making memories!

Whether you’re a seasoned arranger or would like to come along and try, we are hosting a Pumpkin Arranging and Autumn Tablescape Workshop.

As they slowly bow out we are having the last flushes of Sunflowers. They really have been awesome this year. Hoping they might last a little longer. I get sad when their smiling faces fade for another year, they always greet me and are just joyous. Farming flowers is fleeting and reminds me of how precious each arrangement, each stem really is. Leaving plenty behind for the birds to feed from and insects to shelter. What beautiful cut flowers they make, but even better big hotels too x 🌻

SEPTEMBER A change of season. Still rich in colour m and warmth. Berries burst in the hedgerows and flowers are fiery and bold. Our cottage kitchen is filling with harvested fruits and vegetables.
My birth month I have a real soft spot for this beautiful month, but I’m not quite over August. With Wedding still to swoon over, there’s still more to reflect on what was a crazy, hot, colourful and wonderful month ! X
