When COVID put everyone in lockdown, many people rallied together to support those who were vulnerable.
Guy Woodbridge and Samantha Woodbridge were no exception. They cooked meals to support Slaithwaite Mutual Aid (now Colne Valley Help), and Guy has been the admin of one of the local Facebook groups for years.
People like them are the foundations of communities.
Earlier today Sam announced Guy passed away unexpectedly while on holiday together in Bulgaria, where Sam is now.
I have known Guy and Sam since moving to Slaithwaite, loving round the corner from us. They were one of the first few people who supported my local newspaper. They are lovely people.
Sam will need financial and emotional support, so I have set up this GoFundMe to rally together as many people as I can to ask for help. If everyone reading this donated £1 it would amount to phenomenal support for Sam, who is alone, abroad, dealing with the passing of her husband.
