My weekends harvest in a new basket. Basket: frame base which I fitch a little foot on (unnecessary playing), French randing with a wale in the middle. I didn’t add new rods in just folded the leftover French randing over the wale which reminds me of the open Irish weaving. Finished with a 8 rod border, a nod to legend Jenny Crisp who taught me this 2 years ago . And of course some cranking which might become my trade mark as it’s showing up more and more in my work. There was a day that cranking made me cranky but since making bracelets with the method I love doing it now, my hands do it like it’s second nature. I don’t get much time to play with the ideas going around my head so it was lovely to get lost with the materials. some choons and harvest after with it
