HURRY! GRAB A PLACE AT THE NEXT SEWING WORKSHOP !
And she’s back, doing what she loves! Laaj Lally is a very skilled seamstress as well as an experienced MUA. A strong successful 30-year career in makeup and hair, however she’s now returning to her roots with a passion for sewing. Trained at the London College of Fashion, now offering sewing classes, combining her design expertise with a lifelong dedication.
Join her six-session beginner's course to kickstart your sewing journey.

Laaj and Jaybees go back a long way, in the earlier days she had her fabulous tailoring set up placed above her parents convenience store (Master Foodstores) where she would magically design, stitch and alter garments. I would watch her working so skilfully, while having a long tea break and a chatter.

Due to the overwhelming success of her initial sewing workshop, she now has new dates for 2024! Tailored for absolute beginners eager to learn sewing, this six-session workshop is based in Slough. Rest in peace Dad and also known to many as Uncle Ji at Jaybee Fabrics - you were an amazing, kind and generous man who built this business alongside your wife - our home has an emptiness, and your shop is going to miss your presence incredibly. 💔🙏🏽
Thank you to everyone who have sent their condolences and those that came to see us before - and everyone who attended the funeral. It’s all appreciated and has not gone unnoticed. 🙏🏽❤️

We are saddened to announce that our father also known to many as Uncle Ji at the shop, passed away on Sunday 12th November 2023. He was very very much loved and will be missed dearly. Jaybee Fabrics was founded in partnership with his dear wife, and they shared a fabulous 60 years of togetherness….building a beautiful business and life together. It is a very challenging and difficult time for the family, but we take comfort in knowing that he is not suffering anymore and is now rested in peace in the Lord’s grace.
