Vintage Fusion

My passion for all things vintage started as a child, parading in my grandmother’s beads and clothes, playing at dressing up, clicking down the road with shoes that were too big but made a nice noise! Now as a grown up, I am the owner of a small shop specialising in both vintage and handmade jewellery, vintage clothing and accessories, china, glassware, pictures and books. Self-taught in jewellery

-making and a variety of crafts, I create jewellery recycled from vintage pieces, with a combination of old and modern beads, gems and buttons. I also build mirrors from driftwood and sea glass salvaged from the Kent coastline, and decorative wreaths from recycled fabric. I am always experimenting with new crafts, constantly looking for ideas

My mother and grandmother taught me never to waste what could be re-used or repaired, and so this is the key to everything I sell. Buying vintage is always green: re-using items from yesteryear, with the bonus that you are getting something unusual, unique and affordable. Scouring everywhere I go for things that can be salvaged and re-used: broken necklaces, a single earring too pretty to throw away, a brooch with missing stones. If I can't restore it, I experiment with new designs. In turn, I hope to inspire other people - everyone has the talent to re-use, recycle and make!
