We've just had in a small parcel of stunning mature from one of the regions leading lights, Domaine Huet. Clos du Bourg is their flagship vineyard, and this really shines through in the 2011 vintage. Think quince, orchard fruits, absolute precision and real concentration.

Brummie Wines for Brummie People!! (and Yam Yams, Silhillians, anybody in fact).
Recent arrivals from Birmingham City Centre's very own winery, Midland Press, have hit the shelves.
There's the bright, aromatic, fragrant, cherry-infused Silent Crowd.
If you fancy something different try Outer City Limits Orange - made from (no, we hadn't heard of it either) it boasts a heady floral nose reminiscent of Muscat, but with riper apricot and peach notes, followed by a firm, bone-dry palate backed up by gentle tannins.
The round-up is completed by the return of the Outer City Limits red, a really smashable light meant to be drunk lightly chilled.

We don't usually get involved with celebrity wines but we couldn't resist this one (especially as it's a 95/100 Gold Medal winner at the International Wine Challenge).
Roger Taylor has worked with a top grower in Provence to produce this gem - full of fresh, light redcurrant fruit and citrus.
