Cambabest Limited was founded in 1979 and has been growing steadily ever since. Originally a builders' merchant in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham the business outgrew the premises. In 2017 Cambabest Limited opened another kitchen and bathroom showroom Culina+Balneo based in Solihull. In addition, our Tile Style business has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of high quality, affordable

tiles in the Midlands. At present we employ almost ninety staff across five showrooms in the Midlands; which we hope is a large enough business to offer great prices and product range, yet still small enough to still give a personal service.

There’s something we trust about a British made product. It speaks of tradition and quality; a product that is designed to suit our British tastes and lifestyles with a rich history and a story to tell – and that story starts at Daval.

In July 1978, founder, David Bodsworth, was working as a trained cabinet maker when he decided to start a business designing and selling furniture for people’s homes. It was then, while working from a small shop in West Yorkshire, that Daval was born.

Whilst they now design and manufacture made-to-measure cabinetry for kitchens, bedrooms and the whole home alongside a network of more than
100 Design Partners across the UK, Daval’s long-standing commitment to British manufacturing remains.

The company remains independent and family-run by the Bodsworth family, with David and Alyson’s three sons, Simon, Paul, and James, at the helm. We are hugely proud that every piece of furniture we produce continues to be made right here in the same valley where the Daval story started back in 1978, meaning when you choose Daval, you choose quality British craftsmanship.
