We know not everyone can make our midweek tastings so we’re bringing the fizz, white, rosé and red to a Saturday instead!

Join us on Saturday 12th, doors open 3pm, for an afternoon of good wine, good company and some delicious nibbles. Whether you’re a regular or you’ve been curious about what our tastings are all about, this is the perfect excuse to come and find out.

There’s a moment every evening when the village goes quiet, the sky turns gold, and the last of the wine catches the light just right.

Last night was one of those. The bottle nearly empty, the conversation easy, the sunset doing exactly what sunsets do best around here.

This is the bit of the evening nobody rushes. The last glass. The golden light. The feeling that, for a little while, everything is exactly as it should be.

We may have been on holiday… but naturally, a little wine research was required! 😉

After our visit to Estate Argyros in Santorini, we couldn’t resist bringing home three outstanding wines — and rather than keeping them all to ourselves, we thought we’d share them with our lovely customers!

There's a moment every autumn when the evenings pull in, the air turns crisp, and you find yourself craving something slow, warm, and shared.

Yes, we know it's early….but our events seem to be going very, very fast, so we didn't want you to miss out.

Picture this: glasses filled with full-bodied whites and luscious reds, and the kitchen quietly working its magic….a tagine that's been simmering for hours, fragrant with spice, served with couscous (meat and veggie both taken care of). Every bottle has a story before it reaches the glass.

Somewhere in a sun-warmed corner of the world, there's a family who's spent generations coaxing this exact flavour out of the same patch of earth. Grandfathers who planted vines they'd never see fully mature. Daughters who took over the harvest. Stories nobody outside that valley will ever hear in full…except in the glass.

That's the bit we love most about wine. It's not just what's in the bottle, it's who it took to get it there.

So when you sit down with us in Somersham and we pour you something we've fallen for, you're not just getting a drink. You're getting a little piece of someone else's story, poured into yours. 🍷

✨ What a fantastic evening! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our latest Fizz & Chips night. 🥂🐟🍟

The feedback has been incredible, and it’s safe to say the fish & chips from Medway Fisheries were an absolute hit! Fresh, perfectly cooked, and the ideal partner to six wonderful sparkling wines. 🍾

One of the things we’re most passionate about at Wine in the Willows is celebrating the fantastic independent businesses we have on our doorstep. Working alongside local companies like Medway Fisheries not only creates a unique experience for our guests, but also helps showcase the amazing quality our local community has to offer.

Thank you to Tom and the team at Medway Fisheries for helping make the evening such a success, and to everyone who came along and made it such a fun, relaxed night.

This certainly won’t be the last time we collaborate with other brilliant local businesses… 👀

A little reminder…..

🐾🍷 There's a particular kind of afternoon magic that happens when the sun's out, a glass of something good is in hand, and a dog (or two, or three) is trotting happily by your side. That's Wine & Walk and it's back this Saturday, 1st August.

☀️ The weather's being kind to us too, just cool enough for happy paws, just warm enough for lazy sunshine, so tomorrow really is made for wandering.

🥂 3:00pm - gather at the bar for a welcome drink
🥾 3:30pm -set off on this month's route, a new path through the countryside every time
🍷 Back to the bar afterwards, where the wine flows a little easier and the stories get a little better

No dog? No problem - come for the walk, the wine, or simply the company. All are welcome.
