I started this before Christmas, but a bulging disc stopped me finishing it in time. I wrestled with this one, particularly the composition. I just couldn't make peace with the Minster sitting so prominently in the centre, but I was determined to see it through.

Built up with acrylic inks, collage and acrylic paint, I was aiming to capture the atmosphere of a winter evening, with people out doing those last-minute Christmas errands. It began as York... but if I'm honest, it could be anywhere.

Now for the hardest part... I need a title! Any ideas?

Holy macaroons! 🤯🐻‍❄️ This little lady has made it into the 200 longlisted artworks for Sketch for Survival 2026 Explorers Against Extinction.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of this again, supporting conservation through art. Looking forward to sending the original off for the next stage. 💙

I almost didn't enter this one......but sometimes a painting needs time to rest and grow with you.

This little polar bear feels so small against the vastness of the ice, a reminder of both the beauty and the vulnerability of our natural world.

I'm proud to say she'll be my entry for Sketch for Survival 2026. 🤍🐻‍❄️

Delighted to share that two of my paintings, 'Where Giants Walk' and 'Waiting for the Bus', have been selected for the Ropewalk Humber to the Wash Open Exhibition 2026.

The exhibition preview is this Friday, 6–8pm. If you're local, do come along and have a look round otherwise the exhibition runs right up until September.

Looking forward to a great evening and seeing all the selected work on display.
