For those with 3D printers missing your Cold War 20mm fix you may like to take a look at BobMack3d models. *very* detailed and accurate 20mm models (1/76th or 1/72nd as you like) - if you've moved on to other scales they can be printed from 15mm to 28mm

We have a Kickstarter running right now (less than 1 week to pledge) covering US kit a a huge discount, but we also have Vietnam, Soviet, British and other nation's kit available in our web shop

I wish the people of Syria well in their new post Assad era.

On the one hand I wait to see if the new administration follows the pattern of Izal: starting off claiming to be moderate and tolerant before lapsing.
On the other hand, it is the business of the people of Syria to sort their affairs out and not that of the west to bustle in. We have had very mixed results doing this over the last eighty years for various reasons with Vietnam and Afghanistan being the nadir in World policing.

A word of advice to politicians is to be strong in dialogue, as you can at least say you tried to work with a regime. Some won't listen, some cannot listen and some are bound not to listen by other powers.

Hi folks,

Just a reminder for anyone interested. SHQ was sold to Grubby Tanks last year. All released products should be available via email from them.

I have no input or control at all over SHQ now so you must them for any purchase, product information concerning missing or miscast parts and order progress.

Likewise, I cannot tell you what has become of the web site as my web designer/manager was in talks with Grubby, but I have heard no more about what is happening there.

When Grubby Tanks are ready they will get the SHQ part of their site up and you can order. This also refers to Kennington and the 25/28mm ranges and the Foam trays.

I am updating the information about SHQ as well as the Kennington and 25/28mm ranges.

All ranges including the foam has gone to Grubby Tanks. Therefore all enquiries should go to that company.

Pricing, development, communications and policy affecting the above ranges are the responsibility of Grubby Tanks. I have no involvement and therefore no say in how these are conducted.

The site was accidentally opened back in November and two very vigilant customers put orders in! These were transferred to Grubby Tanks as an impromptu test of finding stock and/ or moulds. Thank you to those customers for their patience especially as I hadn't looked at my messages for a week or so!

Good afternoon all. I am looking to move on the foam trays and accessories.

Consignment includes about 2000 trays including Classic Figures in Comfort (full size and half size) and Really Useful trays plus several hundred blue plastic fold up boxes, plastic cases and sewn canvass cases. All this for £1000.00 ONO. Works out at about fifty pence per tray, considerably less if you include the boxes and cases.

Worth considering as a jump starter for part time business? Cutters for classic trays will need sharpening, but buyer can decide if they want to continue with whole range or delete codes they think are not worth taking. Stock will comfortably fill a 20foot ISO container especially if central shelving span is used as well as wall edge shelving (not supplied)

Luton van is advised for collection as there is a tray press that goes with the stock to press down the classic trays and their bottoms.

Good afternoon.

I think our last day of taking orders for SHQ products at Flaxdrayton will be Friday the 25th August. I will advise if this date needs bringing back.

Kennington and 28mm ranges will be available for a while after that, and obviously the really useful foam trays will be available while stocks last for the fab price of £3.00!

Thank you for your support and patience over the last three and a bit years. It has been (mostly) a pleasure and the vast majority of you have been wonderful customers.
