We never thought that one year later to the day, we would be attending a trade show and conference with the UK's many different publishers and fellow booksellers!

Good morning.
It's a busy week here at Electric Beacon Books!
Friday, we have our first ever book club meeting, plus Amy and Alex will be attending the Ultimate Girls Night event.
Saturday we have a debut historical fiction release by L.J. Morton "The Thegn's Daughter", in conjunction with our favourites, Crear Publishing

And of course, Sunday we are CLOSED, due to us attending an event.

So, because of the shorter week, we have smaller batches of Sweet Alchemy Bakes. Currently we have Biscoff blondies available 😋

Book club is currently at full capacity, but feel free to contact us if you'd like to set up your own!

Year of reading update! Books, manga and comics that Steven has managed to get through over the course of the summer (Faithbreaker is the current read, but I included it anyway as it won't take long to finish!) Final update will be posted around the start of January 😁

Feel free to post in the comments how well you're doing with your tbr, or even just what you're currently reading!

Don't forget, we are open tomorrow with extended hours, 10am - 5pm due to the Great North Run. If you require a takeaway hot drink then please bring your own reusable cup, as we don't provide them. Good luck to all those participating!

At the end of September the Romance book festival Once Upon a Tyne debuts, and the week after is the Indy Book Festival, organised by Crear Publishing! Details for both are below, but we also have flyers in store for them.
