Huge congrats to Marcus Rashford on landing the 'Football Mirror' at 24lb 12oz! ⚽🎣

During a recent trip to a Wood Green Park lake in London, Marcus managed to bank this incredible fish. It is absolutely fantastic to see top-level footballers getting out on the bank, unwinding, and genuinely enjoying the sport right now.

A member of the public at this park lake in Hull has just come along and dumped a full loaf of bread right in front of my swim. It's that bad I've had to bring the rods in!

It's not even good for the birds to eat bread anyway... have modern people lost their common sense?

BREAKING: Carp fisheries to take on early-release prisoners! 🚨🎣⛓️

To ease the burden on the prison system, commercial carp fisheries are reportedly stepping up. Inmates will be completely fenced off from the general angling public with strict security measures in place, but they’ll get to spend their days fishing on the bank instead of being locked indoors.

The controversial scheme, which is offering big bucks to participating fisheries, will run as an initial test trial from October right through to March.

But here is the ultimate incentive... anyone who manages to bank a winter 40-pounder gets an immediate early release! 🤯🐟
