Meet some of the incredible women who have worked to produce one of our favourite new coffees. Our newest Uganda release sourced through is from The Coffee Yard around the foothills of Mt. Elgon.

Norman Mukuru, Maria Kirya and their amazing team produce some of the regions highest quality highly diverse natural coffees.

The name Muki Fruity comes from combining the names of Norman Mukuru and Maria Kirya to honour their incredible work.
This is our first experience roasting an Anaerobic natural coffee and while it definitely presented its challenges there was a lot of learning involved and now we’re so so happy with how it’s turned out.

With tasting notes of Papaya, Lime Cordial and a Boozy finish, this is one of our favourite coffees to date!

Our latest Burundi has been flying out a lot faster than we expected! Partly because I’ve been drinking it every day at the roastery, but mostly because it’s become one of the most-loved coffees we’ve released in quite a while!

It’s a coffee we’re genuinely excited to share. Not just because it’s delicious, but because of the people behind it.

Bavyeyi translates to “Parents”, a name that honours the generations of families who have shaped the Ngozi community. To us it’s a daily reminder that every cup is part of a much bigger story of heritage, collaboration, quality, and shared purpose.

If you haven’t had a chance to try it yet, now might be a good time before it’s gone.

New Blue Hour Bags! We are so excited to be able to share our new bags!
We’ve been working really hard for the last few months on something we feel really reflects the core values of Blue Hour; simplicity, calm and mindful living.
We have intentionally kept our packaging as minimal as possible to be able to let the coffee and the amazing producers we work with be the main focus.
We’re so happy with how these have turned out and so excited to finally share them with you all.

Between the last hour of night and the first light of dawn, Blue Hour presides.

Creating memories through coffee, appreciating life’s moments, forming daily rituals.

Enjoy Blue Hour.
