This isn’t easy to post. But it has to be said. We’ve made the decision to take an official break from Glitterica.

We love what we’ve created here and all of the amazing events and people we’ve met along the way. Right now, we don’t have the time to restart or maintain from where we were before lockdown. And the truth is we care about what we do too much to do it with minimal effort.

So, we’re taking a break. Our website is now offline, our Etsy shop is closed and our Facebook status will be updated to closed.

We’re going to post up stock we have on here and Facebay, we will do it in stages over the next few weeks. We will be doing deals on it all, so please keep an eye out

I have no doubt that we will be back. But in the mean time, thank you. Thank you for everyone’s support be it from orders, or advertising or event planners, thank you for keeping us in mind and helping our little hobby become such a big part of our lives!

Hello, from us 👋

We’ve been quiet for a while and we rarely introduce ourselves so, we are sisters Kayleigh and Ma**ca and this is our Glitterica story...

We started Glitterica around 7 years ago from the cute flat we were sharing in Romsey. We were both struggling with our mental health and we needed something to help us focus. Apparently glitter was our thing.

After we decorated every glass in our flat, we started to make glasses for our family and friends. Then our friends, friends. Then we were asked to do a table at a school fate ... Before we knew it we were booking major events all over the country, meeting some truly amazing people along the way!

Like anyone struggling with their mental health there are good days and there are bad. With everything that’s been happening over the last year and all of our events cancelled, we’ve struggled along with the rest of the world.

We can sometimes be quiet as we try our best to refocus whilst taking a break from social media, but we are always here, in the background making pieces for our friends and family, keeping our little hobby going!

We have so many ideas of what we would like to do going forward and makes we would like to try! So although we’ve been quiet, you will still hear from us, there is loads still to come!

So that’s us. A couple of sisters super thankful that we have the support to continue our little hobby!
