Just received an email from Abigail's Footsteps to say our SECOND cooling cot has arrived at North Manchester General Hospital 🩵

Knowing Corey’s legacy is allowing families to spend precious time to make memories with their babies is such a beautiful feeling 🩵

We were so lucky to have such an incredible bereavement team at the Princess Anne Hospital, but there was one incredible lady who is particularly important to us.

Liv was our go-to, our shoulder to cry on and our advocate when we couldn't talk. We will never forget what she did for us and for Corey. 🩵

During some of life’s most heartbreaking moments, one healthcare professional can make a lasting difference.

Perhaps they explained things gently, gave you time with your baby, remembered their name, or simply stayed beside you when no words felt enough.

Our monthly You Rock campaign gives families the opportunity to recognise an individual nurse or healthcare professional whose kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. One nominee will receive a special box containing a “You Rock” keepsake and wellbeing treats, reminding them that the care they give truly matters.

I’m honestly overwhelmed.

The response to my post about Corey’s cooling cot has blown my mind.

Reading your messages, your stories, your love and support… I don’t have the words. Thank you for holding space for something so incredibly vulnerable and personal to us.

It means the world to know that so many of you see Corey, that you care, and that you understand how much this means to our family.

The messages you’ve shared back with me have been so beautiful. Knowing we’re not alone in this grief, and that Corey is helping other families have precious time, brings me so much comfort.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for donating, sharing, commenting, and just being here with us.

We’re forever proud of you, Corey. Your impact is already so much bigger than we ever imagined. 💙

Today we visited the Princess Anne Hospital to see the cooling cot that was donated in Corey's name.

Standing beside it was a very strange and emotional experience, and Seeing it there made the reality of everything we've been doing sink in a little more.

It brought back so many feelings, but at the same time it filled our hearts with comfort. Knowing that this cot will help give other families something so precious, time with their babies, means more than words can express.

Nothing can take away the pain of losing a child, but those extra moments, memories and cuddles can mean absolutely everything.

While seeing it was difficult, it also made us incredibly proud. Corey's legacy will live on through something that will provide comfort, love and precious time to families facing the unimaginable.

A huge thank you to the incredible bereavement team at the Princess Anne Hospital. The care, compassion and support you provide to families during their darkest moments is truly invaluable, and it means so much to know that Corey’s cot will be part of the amazing work you do.

We would also like to thank everyone at Abigail's Footsteps for helping make this possible. The support, guidance and dedication you show to bereaved families is extraordinary, and we are so grateful to have worked with such a wonderful charity.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has supported us, donated, shared our fundraising and cheered us on along the way. This wouldn't have been possible without you.

Knowing that Corey is continuing to make a difference in the lives of other families brings us so much comfort.

I can’t believe it’s been 5 months since the skydive already 🪂

Watching this back gets me every time.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you because of you guys, here’s what we’ve managed to do for Corey’s Corner so far:

🩵 Over £13,000 raised.

🩵 100 toiletry care packages donated to Princess Anne Hospital for the bereavement team & NICU.

🩵 Tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits, milk & sugar for families.

🩵 Crocheted blue & pink hearts for the bereavement team & NICU.

🩵 Craft fairs & family fun days selling everything made at Corey’s Corner.

🩵 ‘Buy & Keep or Buy & Donate’ - anything donated goes straight to Kitty’s Room at Princess Anne for families to help themselves to.

And some really exciting news...

🩵 The Abigail's Cooling Cot in Corey’s name has now arrived at The Princess Anne hospital 🩵

We’ll be going in the next couple of weeks to get some photos with it to share with you all.

I’m honestly blown away by the support. Thank you for helping us keep Corey’s light shining and for helping other families when they need it most.

After a couple of days looking very empty, Corey's Corner is finally back together at Tarquin’s Coffee Shop 🩵✨

The 4Louis family fun day was an incredible success, so today was spent putting everything back where it belongs and giving the space a little TLC 🫶

Every time I set it back up, I'm reminded why it's there in the first place 🥹
