Happy Friday everyone!
If you are longing for a post-Easter chocolatey treat, this we are delighted to share our recipe for Melting Chocolate Puddings, that can be found on page 193 of the Everhot Cookbook 🍫
Ingredients:
200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa butter content), broken into pieces
150g butter
4 eggs
150g golden caster sugar
50g plain flour, sifted onto a plate
2tsp vanilla extract
Method:
1. Butter 6 ramekins and place them on a baking tray.
2. Place the chocolate into a bowl and set onto a tea towel on top of your Everhot lid to slowly melt. Alternatively place the chocolate into a saucepan on the induction hob set at level 1 to warm and melt.
3. In a separate bowl beat together the butter, eggs, vanilla extract and sugar until pale and creamy. Fold in the melted chocolate, followed by gently folding in the flour. Divide equally into the ramekins.
4. Bake in the centre of the top oven set at 200°C for approximately 12-16 mins until risen and soft to touch when gently pressed.
5. Once out of the oven leave for 5 minutes and then turn out and dust with icing sugar.
Serve with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream.
Top tip:
To check they’re ready push a skewer into the centre of one pudding. If it comes out with chocolate on, then it’s perfect!
