We have exciting news!
The Danish Rye loaf handmade here in Farmshop Bakehouse at Southbourne Farm Shop has been awarded a
Great Taste Award from the Guild of Fine Foods!
The judges commented that it is:
“A very attractively presented loaf with even distribution of seeds both inside and out. Ye**ty aromas come through on the nose. The textures of the sticky crumb, the bite of the seeds and chewy crunch of the crust work beautifully together and make for an interesting mouthfeel.
Overall, an enjoyable bread which the judges felt would work well paired with a variety of toppings and accompaniments.”
