If you know of any Litter Picking, Tidying or Gardening activities happening this weekend (or at any other time) please post details below.

World Cleanup Day unites millions of volunteers, governments and organizations, in 197 countries and territories, to tackle the global mismanaged waste crisis.

This world-changing idea began in the small northern European country of Estonia, in 2008.
50,000 people united to clean up the entire country in just five hours. On that day, a global bottom-up civic movement was born and spread like wildfire around the globe.

BLOCKED DRAINS! whether the winter weather brings rain, snow, ice (or leaks) we want the water to flow away easily.

There's a drain roughly every 7 houses, so check your nearest one is clear from litter, leaves, mud - or even cement (?!)

You can report a blocked drain to MySouthend by including the location and a photo if possible. Let us know how you get on.
