A Vintage butcher's scraper. Originally used as an instrument with which the butcher removes part of the surface of his stall (butchers block) by scraping it to clean it; hence its name stall scraper.
This one came from Jim's Joint, the well known butchers of Leigh on Sea.

A great looking wooden laundry case from the Royal Fulham Laundry of Lettice Street, London . Made from heavy-duty ply panels reinforced with metal corner brackets, studs, and flat iron bands to withstand the wear and tear of early-to-mid 20th-century commercial transportation.

These wooden delivery trunks and boxes are highly collectible items today, frequently utilised as blanket boxes, or decorative storage bins.
