Despite the extreme heat and record demand, the latest NHS stats show:
✅ More than ¾ of patients were seen within four hours in A&E
✅ A record 2.65 million diagnostic checks and tests were carried out in a single month
✅ Waiting list fell for the month of June for the first time since 2011
✅ Ambulance response times improved compared to last month, despite higher numbers of 999 calls answered.

A fine day to come with variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells.
A small chance of some patchy light rain later too.
Winds will be from the Southwest with gusts up to 20mph and temperatures reaching highs of 25C.
Clear spells overnight with lows down to 17C.

Tuesday's outlook 🌤.
Variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells with winds from the Southwest gusting to 25mph. Temperatures reaching highs of 24C. Small chance of some light patchy drizzle in some areas.
A cloudy night with some rain at times. Lows down to 16C.

Looking ahead to Wednesday and sunny spells and numbers up to 23C.
