Happy Sunday folks.

We have loads of veg still today, so please pop in if you can. We are open 12-4pm.

We are desperate to get Crust bread on a Saturday back in, and have several customers wielding pitchforks. If you would be willing to pre-order, please let me know below or message/WhatsApp 07895033559 . I need a certain quota of preorders before I can commit and weekends are practically dead.

Too good to go bags will be on the app for the end of the day.

Hi all, veg in bread in, samosas on their way. Gorgeous deliciousness for you all as always. Just a heads up: I am having a really bad flare at the moment which means I can't see, talk or walk properly, so please don't expect too much of me - treat me like that decrepit elderly relative who is on the way out. That's about where I am at! But please pop in. The rain seems to have frightened everyone 😂

Reminder we have our Pride Zine session tomorrow 6.30-8.30 and then will host a pride zine station throughout the month as part of our pride month activities.

Come down and zine yourselves out.

Throughout August we are hosting Artichoke Pride*.
Our theme this year is "Identity and Visibility".
Events as follows

•Our monthly Zine club will have a pride theme. We will be making instructional video on how to zine, and host a zine station throughout the month. We are also collaborating with our wonderful local wholesaler Suma with zine workshops. Zine club this Weds 5th August, 6.30-8.30. let me know if you are coming along.

• Clothes Swap, Weds 19/8, 5-9pm. three sections:
Humble Jumble - bring clean t-shirts, vests, leggings etc standard wardrobe staples that you would fold in a drawer.
Cool threads - bring clean things on hangers that you would like to switch.
Fabulous Dahling - more flamboyant and/or elegant clobber. If you add something to this department, you get a voucher. If you would like something from this department but haven't added to it, we ask that you make a donation to our chosen charity - Level Change .
Please bring clothes to swap Saturday 16th-mon 18th. Please do not bring massive bags of clothes for me to sort, I do not have the time or the energy so they will just end up at the Chaz for scraps and you can do that yourself.
Clothes will not be arranged in "gendered" sections but in colours and we invite everyone to try something fun and new.

•Colour walk - Sun 30/8, 5pm. based on the amazing Spitalfields' Market Colour Walk (have a look for inspiration) we invite people to wear their most colourful finery, accessories, headpieces, gowns and robes. More information to follow, but save the date.

• At the end of the colour walk we will have a giant hokey cokey, game of charades, information point, zine sharing at the town. Attendance ≠ mandatory participation

• Find Your Voice vocal workshop - Sun 30/8 7pm in the town square. Find ways to open your lungs, use your voice for wellbeing and sing with your whole heart.

•Pronoun badge-making station. Make a little pronoun badge in store throughout the month.

I will set up a Facebook event with more info and individual posters for events by the end of today or ask me for further info. All welcome, LGBTQi+, allies, the artichoke community and beyond 🏳️‍🌈
