Rushbearing Festival 2026
As always I’ve decorated the window at Trinkette especially for the Rushbearing Festival.
Fairtrade ducks pulling a mini cart against the backdrop of local artists artwork. The cart / ferris wheel will be moving around with Jellycat passengers.
I will be open tomorrow (Saturday) 10-6.
The first photo shows the timings (at the bottom) of the 2 day route.
We are also selling badges on behalf of the Rushbearing where all the money goes to local charities. A x

A special delivery today …I’m so pleased and proud of myself.

The exciting thing for me …..the surface pattern is fully designed by me.
The designs are a mix of Hand drawn and painted by me using mixed media which I have loved doing.
The designs are then transferred to local artisan Nancy Jones where she uses her magic to make these fabulous earrings.
So excited to have these displayed in the shop tomorrow.
The hoops, post and stud are all sterling silver and the dangles are made from tin which makes them very light to wear.
I’ve had positive feedback from those that have worn them and have come back for more.

They are designed in Sowerby Bridge , made in West Yorkshire, packaged with boxes and bags from 2 businesses in Sowerby Bridge, this one product supports 4 local businesses and makes a great gift and treat.

A New delivery of Kate Lycett cards and calendars this week, perfect timing for Yorkshire day.
We also have a number of prints from local artist Roger Davis and local photography.
I’m so proud of the fact many items are made locally such as jewellery and personalised cards.

Thank you so much for all your support at the weekend at the Sowerby Bridge festival.
I have had a new delivery of soaps and gift sets which are perfect timing for Thank you teacher gifts.personalised cards and tags can be added.
I will be closing early tomorrow at 3 o’clock for a special family event.

Sowerby Bridge Festival starts tomorrow until Sunday.
I’m so pleased that I have re opened the back room and have new artwork from Kate Lycett and Roger Davis. New photography from Alan Wrigley.
New deliveries also from Jellycat.
I’m open as normal Saturday 10-5 and also Sunday 10-4.
