🎯 CLUB FITTING SERIES – WHY SHAFT SELECTION MATTERS

When it comes to club fitting, the shaft is just as important as the clubhead — if not more.

🔹 Weight is king
Shaft weight is the most influential factor in fitting. It directly affects swing speed, timing and consistency. Get the weight wrong and everything else suffers.

🔹 Flex = feel, not flight
Believe it or not, shaft flex has less influence on ball flight than most golfers think. It’s more about how the club feels and how well you can time it.

🔹 Kick point influences ball flight
Kick point plays a big role in launch and trajectory — lower kick point = higher flight, higher kick point = lower flight.

🔹 Material is now preference
With modern technology, you can get lightweight steel and heavier graphite. Today it’s about feel, comfort and confidence.
