Christmas in Speldhurst.

Christmas is such a magical time in a village- it certainly makes us feel grateful to be surrounded by friendly neighbours and to live in such a picturesque place.

Speldhurst Range has always hoped to encapsulate everything that's good about this lovely place we call home in the Kent countryside. We hope that by donating a portion of our profits back into the village (the Village Hall and the recreation ground) we can help Speldhurst to remain a wonderful place for everyone to live, all year round (but especially at Christmas!).

Are you starting to think ahead to Christmas? This year we all know that things are going to be tough. If you're looking to spend your money locally, did you know that £10 spent with a local independent shop or business owner actually means up to £50 invested back into your local community. This is because the small business owner is likely to spend their profits in other local amenities such as pubs and local shops thus meaning the community thrives.

Lest we forget.

Remembering all those who lost their lives from the village of Speldhurst in the Great War and the Second World War. The book of rememberance can be found in a glass-topped table inside the church.

The rememberance service at St Mary's will take place at 10am this morning and online for anyone who isn't able to make it to the church.

It's so exciting to hear that there is a pantomime coming to Speldhurst Village Hall this December. Dip and Dab promises to offer a comedy duo for a Christmas adventure with a twist! With tonnes of audience participation, hilarious
tasks and endless fun!

Are you a keen runner?

Did you know there is a regular running group in the village which meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 8:45am in Northfields. The group usually run between 4 and 5 miles at a gentle pace and is very welcoming and supportive.

Bonus points to any runners who can tick off all the Speldhurst landmarks on our Speldhurst Range products whilst out on their run!

We don't know about you but we have a lot of birthdays in our family in autumn which, in turn, means lots of thank you notes to write!

It's definitely a day to snuggle up with a cuppa today after all that rain eh?!

We definitely need a warming drink after a gorgeous but very soggy autumnal walk through the footpaths of Speldhurst this afternoon!
