Absolutely. But if you're only thinking about Google, you're already behind ๐Ÿ‘€

Search is changing faster than ever. People are still using Google every day, but more and more are also asking ChatGPT ๐Ÿš€ Gemini, Claude and Perplexity for recommendations, advice and answers.

The good news? The fundamentals haven't really changed. Whether it's Google or AI, they all want to recommend websites that are trustworthy, well-structured, genuinely helpful and answer people's questions.

That's why we no longer think about SEO in isolation. We're thinking about your overall online presence. Is your website technically sound? Is your content useful? Do you demonstrate expertise? Are people talking about your business elsewhere online?

๐Ÿ”ฎ Because the future isn't just about ranking on Google.
๐Ÿ”Ž It's about being found wherever your customers are searching.
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ And that's becoming a much bigger conversation than SEO alone.

We hear this question a lot, especially from businesses who have tried LinkedIn before and decided it "doesn't work."

Usually, when we take a look, they've been posting the odd company update every few weeks and hoping enquiries magically appear ๐Ÿช„

The reality is, LinkedIn is home to over 1.2 billion professionals, including more than 1๏ธโƒฃ3๏ธโƒฃ0๏ธโƒฃ million decision-makers. It's also consistently ranked as the number one platform for influencing B2B buying decisions. The opportunity is definitely there. The bigger question is... are you using it properly?

One of the biggest misconceptions is that your company page should do all the heavy lifting. In reality, people connect with people. Your business page is important, but your team, your expertise and your opinions are often what spark conversations and build trust.

If your ideal clients are businesses, LinkedIn isn't somewhere you should occasionally remember to post. It should be part of your marketing strategy.

Weโ€™ve worked with The Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust ๐Ÿ’œ on the Great North Run for a number of years, but after last year's success, we had a much bigger idea - could we step things up and secure a Silver charity package for the charity and fill all places with charity supporters? We went for it, and the response has been incredible.

This year we have signed up a total of โœจ 83 runners โœจmaking this Team Solanโ€™s biggest Great North Run team ever!

From 1 runner back in 2015, to 83 today, we're incredibly proud to have helped grow this into something so big and we're really looking forward to seeing all of the runners together in just 2 short months! Perhaps next year the LGS team will sign themselves up... ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

This is probably one of the questions we're asked most often, and the answer is almost never a straightforward yes or no...

Some businesses genuinely have outgrown their website. It no longer reflects who they are, it's difficult to update, it doesn't work properly on mobile and, most importantly, it isn't helping to generate enquiries.

On the other โœ‹๐Ÿป we've also met businesses who are convinced they need a brand new website, when actually the foundations are already there. Sometimes improving the messaging, simplifying the navigation or making it easier for visitors to get in touch can have a much bigger impact than starting again.

A website shouldn't just look better than your old one. It needs to work harder for your business ๐Ÿ“ˆ

If you're wondering whether you need a new website, we'd always recommend understanding the problem first rather than jumping straight to the solution. It's often a far more cost-effective approach, and it means you're investing in the changes that will actually make a difference.
