Just to clear up any confusion over what a chocolate orange cover is and how the competition will work. This is an example of a simple cover. There are many available online in various levels of skill. We don’t have patterns for them in the shop but could help search if you can’t get online.

No you don’t need to supply the chocolate orange as we have 10 inch (25cm circumference) polystyrene shapes to put in, we only need the cover to fit this size. Firstly the chocolate may melt and secondly, we may be tempted to eat it.

The £2 entry fee goes in the pot for the air ambulance charity, the shop does not take anything from it.

You can collect your covers after the competition to gift or sell but if you would like us to sell them for you, we may do that providing they meet safety requirements for fire, choking etc. All money from sales will go into the air ambulance fund.

This week we have planned something for children in the town. Collect a colouring sheet from today until 22nd August. It’s not a competition, just a bit of fun. We will put all individual sheets together to make a bigger picture. There’s a little gift when the picture is returned complete.

Shop closed from 3pm.
As we are a family business, sometimes things happen and we need to keep the shop closed. Therefore we won’t be open tomorrow or Monday while we deal with something personal. Apologies for this but needs must.

Good afternoon, just a polite reminder about card payments.
We do have a minimum spend of £3 to be able to pay with card in our shop. This has been in place for a while and there is a sign next to our card machine.
We know this may not be ideal at times although with the rising cost of fees we have had to put this into place.
We thank customers who understand and hope to see you all very soon 😁
