In summer 2022 we launched our New TOFS Club+ App, for our Club members, and we strive to bring customers the thrill of a bargain via exclusive Club+ member savings. Today is a bittersweet day for all of us here at The Original Factory Shop, Spennymoor. After years of serving this wonderful community this is our last week of opening so it’s time for us to say goodbye — not just to a store, but to a place that’s been filled with laughter, friendship, and countless memories.

From the moment our doors first opened, you — our loyal customers — have been at the heart of everything we do. You’ve made us smile on the busiest days, shared your stories with us, and supported us through every season. Whether you popped in for a bargain, a friendly chat, or just to see what was new, you became part of our little shop family.

We’ve watched families grow, kids turn into adults, and seen generations of Spennymoor locals pass through our doors. It’s been more than just a shop — it’s been a meeting place, a community hub, and for many of us, a second home.

To our incredible team: thank you for your hard work, your warmth, and your dedication. You’ve gone above and beyond for every customer, and you’ve done it with pride and heart.

And to our customers — thank you, truly. Your kindness, loyalty, and humour have made every day special. We’ll always be grateful for the support you’ve shown us and the memories we’ve made together.

Though this chapter closes, we hope you’ll remember The Original Factory Shop, Spennymoor, not just as a place to shop, but as a part of your story — as it always will be a part of ours.

From all of us, thank you for everything. It’s been an absolute pleasure to serve you. We’ll miss you all, and we wish you nothing but happiness, health, and brighter days ahead.
