I HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE!🤩💐

I have finally got two new poly tunnels up for the autumn winter season!! 🙌🏻

A little back story. Last year my friend messaged to say there were some free tunnels going in Crowland (which is about an hour from me) however we have to dismantle!

Me and dad went to investigate (him 7 months post open heart surgery ❤️ ) and we decided we wanted them!! As you can see from the end video, they were very over grown and also a multispan. The gutter were a little worse for wear so we decided to leave them and create 6 x new individual tunnels.

This means I can control and an environment easier but also create a great crop rotation. 🌱

It took some maths skills to work out with what we have to create the individual tunnels but one year later we have two of them up! They’re not cheap to get up but I know this way has also cost me an absolute fortune than if I were to buy brand new! 💰

What does that mean for flowers?💐 I will be able to grow more over wintered flowers for the spring, grow more gentler flowers that need a bit more protection from the wind but also extend my autumn season with much better quality flowers 🍂

I’m now on the hunt for clean and good water storage solutions 😭 💦

Tis the season for autumn! 🍂

Firstly I just wanted to say thank you to those that keep showing up to my weekend blooms! I know I’m a little far out but I do appreciate those that turn up on the weekly to either treat themselves or loved ones to a bunch or bouquet 💐

Back to the zinnias!! So this year I sowed my zinnias seed as late as possible to ensure I had some pretty blooms for the autumn. Unfortunately with the dry weather and lack of irrigation it meant they haven’t performed as good as they should have and made an appearance a lot earlier by flowering short stemmed during the heat waves!

However look at the fantastic colours. They’re starting to come to the end now but I’ve enjoyed these, this year 🤩🌸

As we enter mid September, the flowers are slightly starting to come to an end outside.

With an extra hot summer and quite a few heavy showers, it’s taking a toll on the delicate flowers 🌺

I’ll keep going as much as I can, in the mean time have a look at the beautiful bouquets that have been going out recently 🙌🏻🌸💐

RECORD BREAKING 🤩🌸

Wowee, today I sold out by 10.10am this morning at Sibsey Farmers Market so a big big thank you to everyone that helped me achieve that buying a bunch of a locally grown British flowers 🌺

I didn’t expect it to be so busy with actually loads of new customers! Fantastic to see the market being well supported by the villagers as well as the outlying villages!

Next month will most likely be my last month for fresh flowers unless the weather stays mild (you never know with the British weather 🇬🇧 🌦️) I’m going to make sure I bring probably double so you can all get a final bunch of 2026! 😢

Thank you for your support again! I’ve already tucked into my cake from The Cornish Daughter Bakery and the ice creams in the freezer from Tuckers Ice Cream 🍦 🍰

IT’S TIME 🤩 🎄 🌿 🤶

Now it’s the 1st of September and we are on the run up to Christmas, it’s time to get booked in for your Christmas wreath classes!!

I have price locked my wreath making for a second year at £30pp and you will be using all foliage grown here on the farm as well as locally grown hay/straw for your bases! 6 x accessories to pick from a wide range as well a ribbon and optional glitter spray! Last but not least a homemade mince pie and hot chocolate that’s been warming on the wood burner 🪵 ☕️ 🥧 🎀
