🤎 Another look at our refreshed shelf at Studio Fresh.

We couldn't resist showing you another view after giving our little Limitless Leather display a tidy and reshuffle.

It's always lovely seeing our handmade pieces together — from smaller leather accessories to dog collars and other practical leather goods, all made here in our UK workshop.

🧵 From a piece of leather to a finished noseband…

This is where another piece of work begins.

The leather has been carefully cut and shaped, including the areas where the fittings will sit. From here it will move through several stages — edging, staining and stitch marking — before it is ready for assembly and stitching.

There is a lot of preparation in good leatherwork that never gets seen once the finished piece is together.

Every cut, edge and stitch line has a purpose, and taking the time to get those details right is what gives a handmade piece its finished look.

🧵 The details are in the making.

A look back at the bridle headpiece repair we were working on recently, under the sewing machine.

You can really see the raised profile and delicate shaping of the headpiece in this photo. These are the details that can be easy to overlook once the finished piece is back on the bridle, but they make a huge difference to the fit, finish and overall quality.

Working with leather isn't just about joining two pieces together — it's about understanding how the leather needs to be shaped, supported and stitched to create the right finished result.

This headpiece was being made as a replacement for a broken original, giving the bridle a new lease of life rather than replacing the whole thing.

🔧 On the workbench today… a dog collar repair.

This well-loved collar has come back to us for some attention, with the leather needing to be replaced.

Rather than throwing away a perfectly good collar, we're carefully removing the worn leather and giving it a new lease of life.

That's what we mean when we say made to last and made to be repaired.

Good quality leather deserves a second life, and we're always happy when something we've made can be repaired rather than replaced. 🤎

🤎 A fresh look at Studio Fresh

🔧 Repair, don't replace.

A bridle headpiece had seen better days, so rather than replacing the whole bridle, we made a new replacement headpiece to give it a new lease of life.

Leather is a wonderful natural material. With the right care and a little skilled repair work, good quality leather can last for many years.

We love being able to help keep well-loved equipment in use rather than seeing it unnecessarily end up in landfill.

Made to last. Made to be repaired. 🤎

🧵 Back to the stitching!

We're busy hand stitching some more of our leather keyrings ready for a restock at Studio.__.fresh . 🤎

Each one is made here in our workshop, stitched and finished by hand rather than mass produced.

They're a lovely little introduction to Limitless Leather — quality British-made leatherwork in a smaller, more affordable piece.

We'll be taking a fresh batch into Studio Fresh soon, so if you've had your eye on one, keep an eye out! 👀
