Available at unit 56 Foregate Street Vintage Emporium
A wonderful oil painting, believed to be an Antique Study / "Grand Tour" Souvenir (19th to Early 20th Century) of The Prophet Zechariah, a famous fresco by Michelangelo from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

The painting is an oil on canvas, with what appears to be another painting on the back.
The frame doesn’t appear to be its original frame and will need some attention to fix the board in more securely,but I feel it compliments the painting.

Painting size 12.25” x 10”
Frame 15.75” x 13.5”

Ready for those chilly nights, a lovely roll top wicker basket to store your logs.
A wonderful antique oil on board reproduction of Michelangelo’s The Prophet Zechariah.
Also some unusual bits of Middle Eastern and South American folk art.

Does anyone know what the plans are for these buildings at Trentham Gardens? About 30 years ago I spent my childhood being chased out of these and they still look the same. Surely Trentham turn over enough profit to invest in these?

I’m sad to say that on Monday the 27th July I’ll be packing up Unit 56 Foregate Street Vintage Emporium

To keep my shed and garage as tidy as possible I’m hoping to take as little back home as possible. I’m therefore offering at least 20% off all items with some additional wriggle room on other items. 😊

Following a successful trip to Newark Antique Fair I have a number of new items at Unit 56 Foregate Street Vintage Emporium including signed wooden sculptures, West African Wooden sculpture, studio pottery and a lovely signed water colour. I also have an interesting vintage framed reproduction of the 17th-century John Speed map of Staffordshire.

Weather was kind to us today for our first trip to Newark. Thanks to for their help and tips on the best areas to go for smalls and best prices.

Some age related scuffs and scratches but other than that a great piece.
