Just an update after quite a few messages.
We apologise for the silence but sadly we have had nothing to report.
The lakes are still not in a position to be fished. Yes the water level has dropped now after another bad flooding last month but the banks are not suitable to enable us to open. The flooding has left damage and the ground is absolutely sodden! It’s far too dangerous to allow anyone on at the moment. So sadly we are into another month of being closed 😢 as soon as we can and it is safe to do so we willl be open and let you know.
Thank you all

So the weather hasn’t been kind to us again going totally the other way and the ground was that frozen we couldn’t restore order on Braybrooke over the weekend.
We don’t want to speak to soon but we are hopeful Braybrooke will be open next weekend.
Now it may not look great but we are working on that. The surrounding areas are going to take a while to get back to normal. We will update closer to the weekend if we will be ready for guests but we will are now taking bookings for the week beginning 29th January and if we can open for the weekend we will 🤞🏼
Bookings are taken via messenger at the moment and a payment link will be sent.
(We can’t wait to see this greenery again 🎣)

So here’s an update at long last, a long one (sorry).
We are aware after reinstalling the app today that there are messages we haven’t seen, apologies we will be on to these over the next few days.
We have been flooded since the start of October as you all know. A few weeks ago we were hopeful that a couple more dry days and we would have Braybrooke tidied up and open……Mother Nature had other plans and my god the rain come worse than ever!
I’m pleased to say that it’s 99% receded now! Braybrooke is a mess, it’s heartbreaking after the time we spent the last 2 summers but hey ho, we will pick up where we left off and next weekend hopefully after a dry week we will commence the cleanup and tidying of pegs. It’s saturated down there.
We will update when this is open.
The maze on the other hand is back down and hasn’t been hit like Braybrooke. it’s wet but not like BrayBrooke, rhe grass is getting a little long but it’s still far too wet to take the mower but at the first opportunity we will be tackling that.
That said, the maze will be back open to fishermen.
Please please bare with us. We have had no Income at all since the last week in September, not a penny and we are trying out upmost best to get straight. All outgoings have still had to be paid so we please do bare with us.
Other than the lakes nothing else you see down at Seighford has anything at all to do with us. That’s totally separate people and businesses.
We are aware that their pigs have been out and we are working with their owner for the mess of the surrounding areas to be rectified. (This does not affect and fishing)
The track, we all know this has been an ongoing issue and for the last 18 months we have paid to get it sorted the best we can, this is not down to us but we funded it because knew it benefited us. Unfortunately this year at the moment, funds don’t allow but again we are trying to work with the relevant people to get this sorted, please take it steady when coming down the track.
For the moment there are no toilet facilities on site. There is drinking water on the car park where it’s always been. Again please accept out apologies and we will have one back in place ASAP. It’s been a hard winter for many and we definitely have felt it. We are praying for better months ahead 🙏🏼

Bookings for The Maze will be through messages and we can send a payment link. At the moment this will be at a reduced rate of £5 for the day and £10 for 24 hours while we get back straight.

As always, thank you for your ongoing supports and offers of help 🎣

Craig didn’t have his scales with him but he had these 2 lovely fish on his last session on Braybrooke!
It’s very wet at the moment so we advise putting your bivvys back from the lake!
For bookings visit Gocatchfish or https://www.gocatch.fish/profile/b8d37f98-a0aa-4e92-b1a1-e0d95f62f86b

Could we also please ask that all rubbish is picked up and taken home with you. We are seeing increasing amounts left sadly.

An absolutely lovely afternoon with friends and family today!
It’s not always about the big fish. The kids have had a cracking afternoon, with a BBQ to finish!
Sometimes chilling is all you need!!

Over the last 48 hours we have had multiple messages about our syndicate. We will get back to you all asap, hopefully this evening.

To answer a few questions, I hope this covers most things.
- yes we still have a syndicate and there is limited spaces left for this year.
- There will be a winter ticket availability
-This is far from a commercial lake, there is wildlife, trees and flowers/weeds around the lake/pegs
- The water is gin clear, therefore it’s a very weedy lake throughout summer, you need to work on your spots/find the clear spots.
- This is no easy lake but makes for very rewarding fishing.
- There’s 8 pegs
- 50/60 fish, average fish size 17/19lb. 20 fish over 20lb, biggest 30lb plus.

Any questions, ask away 🎣

If anyone knows Liam Edwards who fishes with Gary Edward, could you please let him know that due to his settings we can’t message him back as believe he’s not on Facebook and that could be why.
Thank you
