Ever wondered how a stick insect gets out of its old skin? 🤯

Here's one of our Budwing Stick Insects doing exactly that... and honestly, they go completely squishy while they wriggle free! 😂

This little one didn't have the smoothest moult and is now missing one of its front legs. Bad moults can happen for a number of reasons, and the stress of travelling may have played a part after arriving with us this morning. The good news is that, as long as everything goes well, stick insects can often regenerate lost limbs over future moults! 💚

Nature never fails to amaze us. 🌿🦗

We're a little late making the announcement because as soon as these gorgeous little jumpers arrived, they started leaping straight back out the door! 😂

This time we've got Apalachicola, Soroa and Everglades Jumping Spiders in store.
Don't worry though... we haven't completely sold out... yet! 👀
