It is with regret that I've had to pull out of the Eccleshall fun day at the King's Arms tomorrow. Due to the heat and Barley's and my advanced ages, we thought it the sensible option.

But here's a picture of the cushion I was working on for the event. Other town names, fabrics and stich colours are available to order from £20. (I do charge more for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!) This is stitched on Clarke and Clarke's Linoso fabric, with a background stich in white and the name in a rich gold Madeira thread.

As per request from Auntie Sandra White, Barley Sugar is kitted out with teeny, tiny wings for his appearance at Barlaston Village Market tomorrow.

WARNING: Please do not leave bears unattended while they are wearing their wings - especially outside or near open windows. While a Bear Hunt is fun, they can only be really successful when the bear is ground-bound.

Back to work after 3 weeks with my feline friend, Lola.
