Porcelain is often chosen because it is low maintenance.

That is true.

A flexible adhesive on a heated screed. A rapid-set on a project with tight programme constraints. A polymer-modified system where substrate variability is a risk.

Not all tile adhesives are the same.

The correct adhesive depends on tile size, tile type, substrate, environment and whether underfloor heating is present. The cheapest bag on site can become the most expensive decision after handover.

They isolate movement between the substrate and the tile finish, protecting the installation from stresses that would otherwise transfer directly into the tile or grout joint.

The tile is rarely the reason a floor fails.

Movement, cracking, debonding and hollow tiles almost always begin underneath the surface. The substrate determines whether the installation succeeds long after the project is finished.

A beautiful tile cannot compensate for a poor foundation.

Hydronic:

Electric:
