Teddy managed to open the door by himself today!

Today’s book was The Emperor and the Nightingale- one I don’t think I have heard of before. So far, this book has the most beautiful pictures in it!

Reading With Children

Over the years there has been so much research into reading with children. Presently research suggests that around 45% of children between 0 to 2 are read to on a daily basis. Reading to children has so many benefits; security, happiness, reassurance and most of all fun!

Who reads the best stories in your house? At the moment Teddy is enjoying both of us reading to him but I get the impression he might prefer dadda’s animal sounds better than mine!

🎄Happy 1st December!! 🎄

So this morning Teddy and I have opened the first door on our advent calendar! I have been the most excited to see the books behind each door and give you a little insight into the beauty that is Usborne!

Who has put their Christmas tree up yet? We are not quite that organised… also how do you manage to stop a one year old from stealing the baubles 🧐….

Happy December 1st!!

100 Things to Know About.... Saving the Planet

I have just ordered this book for a customer this week and it is the first time I have had a proper look at it! I personally love the 100 things to know about series of books, they are perfect for those that love to learn facts about different topics. I currently have the human body version, its amazing what the book teaches you, even as an adult!

Saving the Planet has been such a hot topic that I am sure your children will have covered at school in some form. This book will help to explain aspects of how we can help to look after our planet!

Should you wish to have a look at other books in the 100 things to know about series please let me know!

!!December New Titles!!

Can you believe that it is December tomorrow?! It really has come around so fast this year, lets not mention that we have already had some snow too?!?

There are some great new titles heading your way this month! New puzzles and a graphic novel! I am loving the focus of 'calm' for the new colour and painting books!

If you would like to know any more about the new releases then send me a message!

Morning Everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

I spent Sunday with the lovely Sarah from The Little Book Snug - in Partnership with Usborne at Stamford Christmas Market. It was super busy and it was lovely to see so many people purchasing from small businesses this Christmas! My toes have just about thawed out!!

If you have any Christmas presents to still buy, pop me a message and I may have something suitable for you!
