I create bespoke Bears from clothing supplied by you from your loved ones collection - as a result every bear is different not only in appearance but also in shape and character as fabrics interact and respond differently during the sewing process. Every bear, as every dear person lost, is unique and each develops its own character. These bears are not designed as toys - they are NOT for children.
I use traditional glass eyes which are sewn in and not safety locked. I prefer to hand sew the nose and mouth - which can be a traditional downward mouth or smiley .... your choice
If you want me to try incorporate some of the characteristics of your loved one I can make some tweeks - bears can be made fatter or thinner, long and lean or shorter and stouter. They can be very happy bears or slightly grumpier. I can fit bigger or smaller glass eyes - i am happy to chat about your loved one and look at photographs to try and reflect them in your bear. The pattern I use is a little quirky as the bears have oversized feet which adds to their appeal and also presents them as modern Memory Bears and not traditional 'Teddy Bears'
The bears are generally between 40 and 45cms tall (the position of the jointing of their legs against the body has an impact on the height)
Items of clothing can be posted to me or hand delivered - return can be in the same manner depending on location and individual arrangements would be made with the client. I am happy to advise on what clothing would be suitable but hopefully the photographs help to give an idea for what can be achieved with both men’s and ladies day to day attire. I am happy to take orders via email or WhatsApp but I will require a deposit before committing to making a bear. Please contact me regarding pricing. These bears are all handmade and take many hours to create - the cost has to reflect this and the cost of the additional materials I need to source.
