Ernest Doe & Sons Limited has a network of branches across the South and East of England. Managing Director, Angus Doe is the fifth generation of the family to have run the business in its 100+ years of trading. Our showrooms are packed with useful items including garden tractors, lawn mowers (including ride-ons), chainsaws, shredders, strimmers, hedge cutters, garden tools, power tools and hardwa

re. Our Calor Gas section offers a tremendous selection of appliances, as well as gas. We carry a large range of outdoor clothing, footwear and workwear with leading brands such as Joules, Hunter, Musto, Berghaus, Hoggs, Dickies, Buckler. The firm also supplies an incredible amount of machinery, including combine harvesters and construction excavators. Our network of branches has expanded to 19 locations. Fourteen of these branches are in East Anglia and five of them are situated south of the River Thames in Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent. These locations include:

After 15 years with Ernest Doe, Ian Roberts has recently retired, bringing to a close a remarkable career in the agricultural industry spanning five decades.

Known for his larger-than-life personality, wealth of experience and passion for the industry, Ian joined Ernest Doe in 2011 as Branch & Sales Manager at our Benington branch before becoming our New Holland Brand Manager in 2020.

During his time with Ernest Doe, Ian played an important role in supporting our New Holland business and built lasting relationships with colleagues, customers and manufacturer partners alike. Our Demonstration Team were out in the Littleport area on Friday, putting the New Holland CR7.90 and 28ft Varifeed header through their paces.

This compact combine certainly impressed, delivering excellent output, a clean sample and minimal losses. The customer was delighted with its performance!

🚜 A BIG DAY OUT FOR OUR NEW HOLLAND T7! 🚜

On Saturday, our Ulting team took a New Holland T7 along to the Kidz4Ever holiday club, where it proved to be one of the highlights of the week!

The children loved getting up close to the tractor, climbing into the cab and posing for photos beside those enormous wheels. For many, it was their first opportunity to see a real tractor at such close quarters.

Frankie and Lauren from Kidz4Ever said: “The excitement on the children’s faces was priceless. It created memories they will be talking about for a long time.”
