SUMMER OF WAR!
To those of you having 6 weeks away from the Schola Progenium and to all who will be enjoying this summer in Stevenage... we have a very special invite for you.
Come join us in The Summer Of War!
++ What is this i hear you say ++
Everyone wanting to get involved in this Warhammer 40000 campaign will choose a project to complete over the summer to accomplish.
Stage 1 - The Muster. To start with you will be collecting, building and painting your project. We will be offering bookable slots throughout the summer for hands-on hobby guidance and help you learn and develop new skills in order to aid you in completely building and painting your project ready for stage 2 - The War.
Stage 2 - The War. For a two week period we will be running a narrative campaign to help you learn how to play exciting games with your chosen project.
We will have bookable slots available for you to come down and take part in hands-on gaming events where we get your projects on the table and fight and get your understanding of Warhammer 40000.
Each Built and Painted unit and battle will earn your faction points on our Big Summer Of War board; you will also receive bonus points for bringing a friend or family member down to take part in an introductory experience and learn the worlds of Warhammer . At the end of the summer the winning faction will claim bragging rights and will be able to lord it over the others until next summer!
++What will I need?++
To take part in The Big Summer Of War you will need to get any Starter Box, Combat Patrol or a small force of about 500 points , and the paints and tools to build and paint your awesome projects.
As always, we will be here to help you during the muster with what project would be best for you and more than happy to offer you any recommendations on paints and tools.
++When will this be happening?++
Stage 1 - The Muster. July 25th - August 21st.
Stage 2 - The War. August 22nd - September 5th.
++How do I get booked in?++
When you collect your project in store you can start getting booked in. Talk to staff about what it is you want to learn and get help with and we will make it happen. This could be a small new skill you want to learn and develop all the way to starting Warhammer for the first time and getting loads of in store sessions to walk you through your project!

++The goal?++
At the end of the summer the goal is that you will have started a Warhammer project and learnt how to build, paint, and play. You will have become well versed in these three pillars of the hobby so that you can continue in the Worlds of Warhammer confidently and will have earned yourself plenty of battle honour stamps .
I will be putting more up on Saturday with information on where these Battles will be taking place in the Warhammer 40000 universe, so stay tuned!
