We don't see Masterbuilt Basses very often but today we have two for you.

David Brown started his career at Yamaha guitars before moving to Fender, the G&L Custom Shop and then back to Fender as Masterbuilder at the Custom Shop. We've been getting his builds in right from the start and are always impressed with the guitars and his attention to detail. David has delivered with this 1960 Jazz Bass in 3 Tone Sparkleburst.

Jason Smith is a Custom Shop veteran and served his apprenticeship under the legenday John English. He's a Masterbuilder who most certainly knows his stuff and consistently delivers the goods. He's also a Bass player himself and knows how to get the very best out of one when he builds it. That's why this 1960 Jazz Bass in Relic 3 Tone Sunburst is absolutely spot on.

Last night we attended the 2026 Fender Custom Shop European Event at Stereo in the heart of Covent Garden.

As you’d expect there were some amazing guitars available for dealers to bid on and with all of Europes Custom Shop dealers in attendance competition was fierce.

We managed to get allocated 3 guitars in the lottery that we’ll be seeing in the coming weeks.

59 Strat with roasted ash body in white blonde, 55 Tele in aged vintage blonde and a 51 Nocaster In aged dirty white blonde.
