Scarborough Gold Cup:

Gold Cup Race:

Wet roads greeted the 17 runners in the Gold Cup feature race with TH Racings Joey Thompson and Ryan Dixon set to splash their way around the Olivers Mount Circuit.
But the wet roads didn’t deter either rider with both becoming only two of seven riders to break the two minute lap in the race.
Ryan Dixon on the TH Racing CBR600RR Honda rode a steady race picking off a few places in the eight lap race to finish an excellent 6th place with a best lap of the race on the last lap at 1m59.599s.
Joey Thompson on the second TH Racing Honda finished in a very credible 8th place with Thompsons best lap of 1m59.936s.
It was of course that man Dean Harrison also on a Honda who took the win from flag to flag with Corks Mike Browne second and Peter Hickman third.

Supertwins Race 2

The Supertwins race 2 was meet with a soaking circuit after rain fell prior the the start of the race all around the circuit.
Joey Thompson on the TH Racing Aprilia, got caught out going into turn one on the treacherous track conditions and took a minor slip off ruling him out of contention.
Rob Hodson was left out front but a solid ride by Ryan Dixon on the TH Racing/Hywel Griffiths ER650 Kawasaki, slotted into second place and held that advantage to the finish of the six lap race, four seconds in front of third place man Peter Hickman.
Hodson set the fastest lap in the difficult and tricky conditions with a best lap of 2m2.846s with Dixon the second fastest rider on circuit at 2m5.457s.

Supersport A Race One:

Joey Thompson riding the TH Racing CBR600RR Honda finished in an excellent sixth place in the first of today’s Supersport races amongst a plethora of top class racers.
Thompson excelled in the 8 lap race where he set his fastest lap time of 1m48.368s.
Ryan Dixon on the second TH Racing Honda retired after lap two.
The race was won again by Dean Harrison with a winning margin of 3 seconds from Peter Hickman, Mike Browne, Tom Weeden, Davy Todd, and Joey Thompson.
Harrison set the fastest lap of the race in a time of 1m46.204s.

Supersport A Race 2

The Supersport A Race 2 saw the curtain fall on day one of the Scarborough Gold Cup Races with TH Racing riders Joey Thompson and Ryan Dixon putting in their best laps of the weekend to date on their CBR600RR Honda’s.
In a hotly contested 8 laps of the Olivers Mount Circuit in which Thompson and Dixon stamped their best lap times of the weekend with Thompson coming home in 8th place with a best lap of 1m48.233s and Dixon right behind in 9th place with a best lap of 1m49.022s.
Dean Harrison was again the runaway victor and must be the hot favourite for tomorrow’s Gold Cup feature race. He had a 12 second winning margin over runner up Peter Hickman with Tom Weeden third just in front of Mike Browne and Davey Todd.
Harrison set the fastest lap of the race with a 1m44.833s lap time.

Supertwins Race 2.

A shortened Supertwins Race Two saw TH Racings Ryan Dixon and Joey Thompson finish 2nd and 3rd over the four laps of the Olivers Mount Circuit after the initial start was red flagged forcing a shortened 4 lap race.
Ryan Dixon on the TH Racing/Hywel Griffith ER650 Kawasaki finish just 1.8 seconds behind race winner Rob Hodson with Joey Thompson a further 1 second adrift of Dixon in third place.

Friday Qualifying:

TH Racing riders Joey Thompson and Ryan Dixon, put their marks down in qualifying today for the 2026 Gold Cup at the Olivers Mount circuit in Scarborough.
Joey Thompson on the TH Racing RS660 Aprilia, set pole position in the Supertwins class with a best lap of 1m51.476s, just pipping both Johnny Stewart and Rob Hodson.
Ryan Dixon on the Hywel Griffiths backed ER650 Kawasaki, set his personal best ever twin lap around the Olivers Mount circuit to slot into fourth place with a best lap of 1m51.963s.
In the Supersport 600 Category, Joey Thompson on the TH Racing CBR600RR Honda, had to settle for 9th fastest after the first session was red flagged with only two seconds splitting the top ten.
Ryan Dixon on the second TH Racing CBR600RR slots into seventh place in a hotly contested class which was topped by TT specialist Dean Harrison with the only sub 1m50s lap at 1m49.476s

Supersport A Race One.

Joey Thompson and Ryan Dixon riding the TH Racing Supersport 600 Honda’s, finished 6th & 7th respectively in the first Supersport 600 Race A at Oliver’s Mount.
Starting from 9th on the grid, Thompson battled hard to make his way up through the grid to take a well earned 6th place finish.
Ryan Dixon who started from 7th, maintained that position throughout the race with the Honda debutant setting his fastest ever Supersport lap around the Olivers Mounts circuit, bettering his best time by 9/100’s of a second.
The race was won by Dean Harrison who obliterated the opposition to take the win by 12 seconds from runner up Peter Hickman and Mike Browne.
Harrison set the fastest lap of the race in a time of 1m46.556s.
