📣⚔️ LARGS VIKING FESTIVAL AGM 2026 ⚔️📣

🔥 Love the Largs Viking Festival? Want to help shape its future? 🔥

Would you like to be part of the team behind one of Scotland’s longest-running Viking festivals? 🛡️

We’re inviting enthusiastic volunteers to join us at the Largs Viking Festival Annual General Meeting (AGM)!

📅 Saturday 14th November 2026
⏰ 10:45 am
📍 Annexe, Clark Church Building, Largs

We’re looking for new volunteers to join, help bring fresh ideas and make future festivals better! There are lots of ways to get involved, including:

🛖 Viking Village and Scots encampment– Re-enactment, heritage and culture.
🎶 Entertainment – Help organise bands, performers, events and activities.
🛍️ Festival Market – Help coordinate local traders and festival stalls.
👕 Merchandising – Help organise and promote festival merchandise, including online sales.
🔥 Parades & Processions – Help coordinate the Opening Parade and Festival of Fire.
Help bring our longships up to standard for sailing/rowing throughout the year.
📱 There are also opportunities to help with social media, website design, marketing, promotion and much much more!

Whether you’ve been part of the festival for years or are simply passionate about your local community, We’d love to hear from you! ❤️

Every helping hand, fresh idea and bit of enthusiasm makes a difference. Come along, meet the team and find out how you could play a part in keeping this fantastic festival alive for years to come! ⚔️🔥

✨ A Little Space for Something Special at The Blue Artisan, Saltcoats! ✨

One thing I absolutely love is seeing small businesses support each other, so throughout November, I'd love to give one small independent maker every Sunday the opportunity to showcase their beautiful products in our new shop on Saltcoats Dockhead Street! 🛍️

I'm particularly interested in hearing from makers of:

🛁 Handmade bath & body products

💌 Handmade cards & stationery

🏺 Pottery & ceramics

💍 Handmade jewellery

But please don't be shy if you create something different! I'd still love to hear from you. 💙

What we're offering:

✨ A pop-up space inside The Blue Artisan

✨ A 6ft table supplied for your display

✨ The opportunity to meet new customers and showcase your business

✨ A friendly, supportive environment where small businesses can grow together

📅 Every Sunday throughout November

📍 The Blue Artisan – Saltcoats High Street

All we ask is that you have your own public liability insurance.
