Popping back in this space to say a final thank you and farewell to all of you excellent people who have supported us these past four years. The last weeks were so busy and overwhelming it's taken a bit of time to come back down to earth.

We are loving hearing from folk who have been enjoying their new pottery pieces which are now collectors items.

We are looking for a new home for our wheel and till system, so if you know someone who might be interested please share with them.

Be good to yourselves and keep buying handmade pottery for yourself and your favourites. It is a bringer of joy and there is SO much good work out there.

See ya.
Eilidh, Craig and Emma. X

We were cleaned out of mugs (and some cups) from online orders, thank you so much for your patience while we are working on them.
Due to backlogs due to strikes the last post dates for Christmas delivery have been moved forward by a few days making things a bit tighter. Please know we are working to get everything ready and posted by 16th December.

Big up the posties. ✊

Hello from captain overwhelm (Eilidh),

we have been blown away by your many many orders (you are a very excellent lot).

So much so we've had to shut the Etsy listings off for anything we don't have already made and in stock.

As we are working through the orders we have already received, some other items may come back on for sale online.

We also have a number of seconds of some popular items (think hillside tumblers, Ribwort and more). I haven't decided yet whether to do another Instagram seconds sale or put them on Etsy. Currently leaning towards the latter. What suits you?

Finally an apology I haven't been keeping up with communications very well. If you're waiting for a reply from me feel free to give me a nudge in case I've missed your message.

Once again, thank you for being the best customers. We have so appreciated the love and support you've shown us.

Image shows a pride cactus pot, we have a few left ready to ship in the shop and on Etsy. Unfortunately they come without the gorgeous pilea plant pictured here

You lot are incredible. We have been completely overwhelmed by your messages of love and support since we broke the news of our closing down. I will get back to replying to people soon.

A huge huge thank you also for your orders. We have a lot to get on with over the next month or so and I am a little glad I had some products not online yet so we have some stock to take with us to this weekend's market.

We will have a bunch of Ribwort small dishes that will be available this Saturday and Sunday at at the kibble palace, Glasgow botanics 10-4.
If there are any left after the weekend I'll make them available online.
I have been so excited to share these with you all for a while.

Hope to see you this weekend Glasgow pals!

Big news from Buchlyvie Pottery.

We have taken the difficult decision to close the doors and hang up our aprons.
The last four years have been a wild ride with thousands of pots being made and sold in a time that has included huge challenges. We have so loved having the opportunity to build on what was created by Alison in the previous 29 years.

This decision has not been taken lightly.
We want to thank everyone who has cheered us on, shared posts, bought pots and supported us while we have been here. Closing date is TBC but will be around Christmas and will coincide with the coffee kiln business closing.

For those a little further afield; the online shop will be closing at the end of November.
And we have our final market coming up on 18+20th November with at kibble palace, botanic gardens Glasgow.

Thanks again for all of your support,

Craig, Eilidh and Emma

Weekend mornings generally start with coffee and a bit of reading in bed. I'd hoped to get the Saturday chores out of the way then reach the workshop to finish off a batch of pride mugs but I didn't quite manage that. Running with the dogs in the good light was a very worthy alternative.

I hope your Saturday has been gentle.

Not sure how long I've been promising to get the rainbow baby cups online but it's been a while.

You can now order them on Etsy. They make an excellent gifts for your favourite little people. One that can be used and loved for years and years.

Cheers for the picture
